What is DigiNetra?

DigiNetra is an integrated wildlife monitoring tool that lets decision makers and park managers keep watch over their forest land with 24×7 real-time video surveillance, from anywhere in the world.

It is built from modules that work in tandem: long-range IR and thermal cameras covering the landscape, inputs from forest watchers through a mobile application, and data from other sensor technologies — combined into one view.

Every part of it is engineered for remote deployment. Solar power instead of a grid connection, wireless backhaul instead of cellular coverage, and IP65 enclosures because dust and monsoon rain will find any weakness.

DigiNetra smart perimeter surveillance node: a 12 metre tower carrying PTZ, thermal and dome cameras, a 5 GHz wireless link, solar panel and outdoor power box.

How it works

Six modules, one system.

Each piece is useful on its own. Together they turn a stretch of forest into something you can actually see and respond to.

Long-range PTZ cameras

45× optical zoom, 4 MP, up to 500 m IR illumination with intelligent video analytics and wide dynamic range. Deployments reach 4 km viewing range where the terrain allows.

Thermal + optical bullet cameras

Dual-sensor units pairing thermal detection with optical confirmation, so heat signatures at night can be verified rather than guessed at.

AI detection at the edge

Human and vehicle detection, line-crossing and intrusion alerts, and face detection where the deployment calls for it — turning continuous video into a handful of events worth attention.

Wireless backhaul

5 GHz PowerBeam links at 27 dBi carry footage from the tower to the control room over point-to-point or point-to-multipoint paths, with deployments running up to 9 km.

Off-grid solar power

1.2 kW of solar against a 2.56 kWh LiFePO4 bank with MPPT charge control gives 20+ hours of autonomy, so sites survive monsoon weeks with little sun.

Remote monitoring

Live footage in a control room inside the park, and on mobile — so a range officer does not have to be at a desk to see what is happening.

The software layer

Mirage — the DigiNetra video management system.

Sixteen camera channels on one Windows workstation, with live view, recording, playback and real-time detection of humans, vehicles and animal species. It is what runs in the Kuno control room.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor — Bidkin Plant

System integrator for BM Constrotech

Our first industrial deployment. Four cameras monitor construction progress and site security at Toyota Kirloskar Motor's Bidkin plant in Maharashtra. We delivered the surveillance system as integrator working with BM Constrotech, the main contractor executing the build. The same off-grid, long-range hardware engineered for forests turns out to suit a large construction site with equal ease.

Virangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve

Madhya Pradesh's newest tiger reserve, spanning the Damoh, Sagar and Narsinghpur districts, is being prepared as a cheetah habitat. We have been awarded the work order to install long-range camera surveillance for monitoring the cheetahs.

Kuno National Park

Kuno was the first DigiNetra deployment anywhere. Four 1 km-range IR PTZ cameras went up in December 2021 — nine months before the cheetahs arrived — so the soft-release enclosures could be watched from the moment the animals were introduced in September 2022. Nearly 70 years after the species was declared extinct in India, its return was monitored around the clock from day one. The site now runs seven cameras, and in April 2025 we commissioned a state-of-the-art control room inside the park.

Pench Tiger Reserve

A 4 km long-range IR PTZ camera was installed in December 2023 to monitor illegal fishing at Totladoh Dam. It sits on a 21 metre tower running on industrial-grade off-grid solar, linked wirelessly to a monitoring room 9 km away. Two further cameras were added in 2025, extending coverage across the reserve.

Madhav Tiger Reserve

Madhav spreads across roughly 355 sq. km in Shivpuri district, and its boundary runs directly against Shivpuri city — making illegal entry a persistent risk to both wildlife and people. Four AI-enabled PTZ cameras now monitor that boundary. The park has since been declared a tiger reserve.

Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary

Gandhi Sagar spans 368.62 sq. km along the Madhya Pradesh–Rajasthan boundary across Mandsaur and Neemuch districts. Eight cameras were installed in 2024 to monitor cheetahs in their enclosures — two PTZ units covering the wider area, plus a fixed camera dedicated to each of the six bomas.
