Mirage is the video management system behind DigiNetra. It takes a wall of camera feeds and turns it into something a single person on a single workstation can actually watch — live view, recording and playback, with detection running on every stream at once.
It is the software our field hardware was always pointing at. A camera on a tower is only useful if someone can see what it sees, search back through what it saw, and be told when something happens. Mirage is that layer.

What it does on every shift.
16 channels, one workstation
Monitor sixteen streams simultaneously — live view, continuous recording and playback of anything already captured, without a rack of separate appliances.
Real-time detection
Detection runs continuously across every feed for humans, vehicles and animal species, so an operator is alerted rather than expected to stare at a grid for a whole shift.
Evidence capture
Every detection saves a still image of the object that triggered it. You get a reviewable record instead of a timestamp and a long hunt through footage.
Swappable AI models
Detection models can be exchanged without reinstalling the system, so a deployment can be retuned for the species and threats that matter at that particular site.
Playback and review
Scrub back through recorded footage alongside the live grid, so an incident can be verified and exported without leaving the application.
Runs on standard Windows
No specialised server or proprietary appliance. It installs on ordinary Windows hardware — which matters when the control room is a building inside a national park.
In the field
Detecting boats at Pench
At Pench Tiger Reserve the problem is not people walking in — it is boats on the water. The reserve's cameras watch Totladoh Dam, where illegal fishing is the pressure, and Mirage is tuned so that a boat on open water raises an event.
That is the swappable-model idea working in practice. The same software that flags humans and vehicles elsewhere is here looking for hulls on a reservoir, from a control room nine kilometres from the camera.


In the field
Running at Kuno National Park
Mirage runs in the control room we commissioned inside Kuno National Park in April 2025, monitoring the seven cameras that watch India's reintroduced cheetahs.
It is the clearest test of what the system is for. Kuno's operators are not security professionals watching a bank of screens in a city — they are park staff who need to know when something crosses a boundary, and to be able to show what happened afterwards. Detection alerts and per-event stills are what make that workable.
